Science In Space 2002 is the International Space School Education Trust's annual competition, to test young people's space and scientific enquiry and imagination together with their IT skills. The prize winners participate in the experience of a life-time at NASA's Kennedy Space Centre, Florida and Johnson Space Centre, Houston.
'Science in Space 2002' is being launched in Wales by Scott Vangen this week, touring schools and talking to pupils.
The competition is open to students aged between 14 and 18 from schools and colleges in Wales. Science in Space provides Welsh students with the opportunity to experience the frontiers of science at the heart of NASA's space programme.
