Drew Nash works at the NASA Johnson Space Center based in Houston, Texas.
Originally from a small town in Northwest Illinois, he attended Iowa State
University majoring in mechanical engineering. Throughout his enrollment
at Iowa State, he participated in the NASA Co-op Program for three tours,
obtaining work experience in both the Structures Division and Aircraft
Operations Division.
Upon graduation in December 1998, he obtained a full-time position at NASA
working for the Aircraft Engineering Branch. Drew currently holds the

of T-38 aircraft (Air Force jet trainer). He is extensively involved with
the Reduced Gravity Student Flight Opportunities Program, the WB-57F
ACCENT Mission, and various engineering projects such as the T-38 inlet
modification and WB-57F canopy systems modification.
On a personal note, Drew is 24 years old, a licensed private pilot, and a
Red Sox fan. He enjoys camping, fishing, cross-country flights, baseball,
