| Imagine having
to bring enough things for 2½ years of free time! What books, movies,
and games would you take? Would you keep a journal of your experiences?
You could create web pages with digital images, video, and journal entries
to send home to family and friends. Would you like to learn a new subject?
Astronauts will do a variety of training for the mission during the flight
to Mars. While on the surface additional courses of study could be provided
for crews to learn new languages, subjects, or specialties. |

Questions to think about:
-
How would you spend your free
time on Mars?
-
What things would you take with
you for entertainment?
-
What subjects would be easy to
study using CD-roms?
-
Who would you write to back home?
