The Kennedy experience provides the unique
and exciting opportunity to work in the Kennedy Space Centre,
Florida, with education specialists, astronauts, space scientists
and rocket engineers.
The
programme is open to teachers of any discipline who will benefit
from utilising the exciting and motivational context of space
and space exploration to inspire teaching and learning within
the classroom.

Intensive
active training sessions with experts in educational
development. |

- To provide teachers
with a unique opportunity for teacher training at NASA
- To develop techniques
to utilise the motivational powers of space and space exploration in the classroom
- Teachers will
be able to monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness
of such teaching and learning programmes.
- Enrolment on
postgraduate certificated assessment programmes, which
could mean the possibility of obtaining the first part of
a Masters degree.
- Teachers will
be able to make contacts with NASA and educational personnel
in the USA to establish virtual and actual
long-term links and liaisons.
