Rocket technology has formed the basis of mankind's exploration of space, from sub-orbital flight to Earth orbit, even as far as the Moon with manned missions. Rockets have taken probes the farthest edges of the solar system and helped to build space stations, the first chance for human beings to live beyond the Earth.
In this topic, students will explore rocketry, the physics and chemistry principles behind it, building their own small rockets and learning about about motion and gravity.
